SURE-Fire Meetings: How to use Dialogue Education to engage people in meetings they’ll actually look forward to.
Two-day course for anyone involved in organizing, designing or facilitating meetings.
It’s a universal sentiment: all organizations need meetings and no one likes them. Typical complaints are that meetings are “boring” or “unproductive” or “a waste of time” – and often with good reason.
But what if you could transform your meetings into sessions that were engaging, purposeful and dynamic? What if people left the room feeling motivated and inspired and with clear direction about their objectives?
In this SURE-Fire Meetings course, you’ll discover how to transform your meetings into energizing and productive experiences through Dialogue Education™ (DE). DE is a learner-centered system that uses the power of dialogue to bring participants into active relationship with the content of a learning experience. These same methods transfer beautifully to the conference room by designing meetings to be more collaborative, lively, relevant, and purposeful.
Through this workshop you will:learn the principles and practices of DE, including the value of dialogue, safety and respect in a meeting environment
- learn how to apply the DE system in your design, facilitation and evaluation of business meetings
- turn meetings into engaging collaborations in which

Four-day workshop for teachers, trainers, facilitators, and managers
Dialogue Education™ (DE) is a learner-centered system of teaching and curriculum design that is uniquely purposeful, engaging, and collaborative. Unlike traditional methods that push information onto passive learners, DE brings the learner into active relationship with both the content and the learning process. As a result, DE has the power to utterly transform the way you teach, and to also transform the way your learners absorb and retain content.
In this dynamic four-day workshop, you’ll directly experience the core concepts and practices of Dialogue Education. By the time you leave, you’ll have helpful tools and skills that will completely re-engage your passion and purpose for teaching, training, or facilitating.
As an added bonus, Learning to Listen, Learning to Teach is the first step toward becoming a Certified Dialogue Education Practitioner, should you wish to continue your professional development in DE.

Advanced Learning Design: “Re-vision” your learning events for greater success using DE
Three-day course for graduates of Learning to Listen, Learning to Teach
You’ve experienced first-hand the transformative value of using Dialogue Education™ (DE) in the workplace, in the field, or in the classroom. Now you can deepen your knowledge of DE even further, and gain a direct and practical benefit: the successful redesign of a specific learning event you have planned – either a current training design or something brand new.
In this rigorous three-day course, you will be asked to bring a learning event you feel could be improved or a learning design you‘d like to create. Collaboratively, using the principles and practices of Dialogue Education, you will:
- work through the 8 steps of design to strengthen or design your learning event
- closely analyze and assess your learning event’s strengths and weaknesses; and- reconstruct the event to be more engaging, accountable, and effectively learning-centered.
Through this course, you will not only leave with a strong DE-based learning event, but also gain deep knowledge and practical methods to guide you in designing more effective learning programs in the future.
On a more global level, this dynamic and focused experience of engaging theory with praxis will re-invigorate your ability to lead a
